Is China fascist now?
Not really because they don't practice eugenics, and culturally the Chinese government isn't really into the eliminationism that a Fascist state would advocate (ie Kill all Jews). They also don't practice social Darwinism, instead they at least advocate collectivism and bringing the whole country up. They also don't practice the kind of corporate capitalism that a fascist country would since the government is directly in charge of unions and regulations instead of working through firms. For a good idea of the difference between Communist and Fascist regimes and the similarities between the two read "The Dictators" by Richard Overy.
