Big help here people!! How can I find out if a guy likes me? (Detailed)?

So, this is the problem. The guy I had a crush on is one of a little bit snobby people (he's rich, have everything..). And about 3-4 months ago, I tore his jacket accidentally. He was really angry on me. He said that I would pay for that jacket. He even yelled at me. (The jacket cost around 370$). After that, we didn't spoke a word. But, few days ago, he even sat next to me when we were waiting in hall for class to begin. He jokes with friends and everything... When I pleased him to move his jacket so that I don't tore another one, he just said a very mean thing (of course, I would do that to. I wanted to slap myself for saying that.). Today, again he sat next to me. (and there were other seats free). But then, a girl from class came and sat on him. I just turned around because I didn't want to look at that. Short after that the girl moved to sit next to him. In the class we have PowerPoint presentation so we had to turn our heads in other direction, so he was two desks before me. But when I looked to teacher who stood next to me, I would saw him look in my direction, but I'm not 100% sure if he was looking at me or teacher. When I would turn my head back, he would do that too. And few times like that. I'm not sure if he likes me or not. I'm really confused. If someone would tell me what to do, I would be very grateful. And remember, I can't just come next to him and ask him anything, because he would probably just yelled at me. I mean, I did tore a jacket after all. I know this is very detailed, and you may have no will to answer on this, but please, answer. Thanks a bunch :)
