Can I Resoften A Suede Blazer????? It Got Wet?

ok, Its just one section of the jacket its the left arm and its about 3x4, I was trying to get this stain out and I left the water on it to long and when I went to dry it it felt kind of hard, alot harder then the rest of the blazer, the main problem is you can see it when the light is hitting it, is there anway I can save it?
