Is it bad to shave your arms?

I always wear a jacket because I'm embarressed of the hair on my arms. It's a dark brown dirty blonde color I guess? It just embarrses me. I want to shave my arms but I don't know if it's bad. [[ I shave my legs, underarms, and what not. ]] I always wear a jacket because I'm insecure about it. Please help me! I go to highschool next year and I don't want to worry about it. Help!
